Original French WWI Model 1870 Enlisted Trooper’s Cuirassier Helmet with Horsehair Tail U.S. Field Gear for Statischem Druck (static pressure)Original Item: Only One Available. A fine example of a WWI period Model 1870 French Cuirassier Enlisted Troopers Helmet. The helmet consists of a steel body with brass fittings, and black horsehair tail. The original leather lining band is still intact, but shows signs of wear from honest use and storage over the decades.
