Description

powerful and firmly structured finish

but planting began in earnest in 1968 following the suggestions of the Chianti Classico Consorzio

slightly austere impression

(from very old vines situated in Clos du Village and En Combe)

Renato Ratti, Barolo Marcenasco other_regions powerful and firmly structured finishLa Morra. Dark, maturing ruby with orange rim. Oak and dried fruit on a nose that is a little facile. Ripe and slightly charred and creamy on the finish and with lots of coating tannins. A little constructed, but will be more compelling with a little age. (WS)
