9% after a bit of de-alcoholization--as in 2004 and 2009) -- Stephen Tanzer
Fonplegade Vintage:2016 And despite the succulent mid-palateA touch tight and even reduced at first, it takes a moment to clear to reveal dense layers of black fruits, graphite and bristling tannins. Concentrated and intense, clearly a reflection of the impressive structural clout of this particular vintage, not huge amounts of charm even at 10 years old needs longer, wait at least another two years. 85% new oak.
