Description

Kimsey vineyard (Ballard Canyon) and Harrison-Clarke vineyard (Ballard Canyon)

Bright and nicely focused

culminating in a stupendously long finish that offers intense minerality

Sweet Cabernet fruit but slightly unformed

Domaine Leroy, Nuits Saint Georges Lavieres other_regions_australia Kimsey vineyard (Ballard Canyon) andA completely different expression with even better finesse and pronounced minerality to accompany a very expressive black fruit nose, earth inflected flavors and outstanding length. The tannins are very fine and while there is good Nuits character, there is no rusticity at all.
