Hakushu and Chita
The wine shows a beautiful ruby color in the glass
Finish: Satisfyingly long
a whiff of cigar box
L'Aventure 2006 Cote a Cote Red Blend Frank August Hakushu and Chita40% Mourvedre, 30% Grenache, 30% Syrah In the same mold, with a classic, almost Old World savory character (certainly with a Paso Robles slant), the 2006 Cuvee Cote a Cote is 40% Mourvedre, 30% Grenache and 30% Syrah. Showing the ample creme de cassis, chocolate, seared meat and licorice driven profile thats common in this cuvee, it hits the palate with full bodied richness and depth, yet stays lively and fresh, with no sense of weight or alcohol.
