Vincent Girardin, Clos Vougeot Vintage:2005 (harvested on September 20th)A very ripe nose displays hints of mocha, cola and plum though its not inelegant or surmature. The well muscled flavors retain a good sense of freshness and vitality on the punchy, sweet and dusty finish where a note of youthful austerity can also be found. (90 92) 2013+
