Description

For my taste

boysenberry and floral scents

The wine is deep into its Golden Years with savory tones of smoked bacon

Ageing is in 500-litre barrels with no new oak

Kumeu River, Hunting Hill Chardonnay Brut Zero For my tasteDefinitely more restrained on the nose than the Coddington. Then on the palate its more savoury and more burgundian, with admirable precision. Still quite youthful. Very finely etched. Lemon flavours. A bit more depth than the Coddington. Long. (JR)
