George III. Halfpenny. 1773. Non Regal issue. #sherborne Head of GodThis is an interesting contemporary copy of a genuine halfpenny. The style is quite good and it has clearly seen some circulation, however the mis spelling 'BRTIANNIA' amongst other details gives it away. 7. 67g. 28mm, slightly undersize and weight. Very fine for type, and rare.
