offering deeply concentrated raspberry
layered and cool wild red berry fruit aromas that are liberally laced with a sauvage character
The intense and tautly muscular big-bodied flavors that are slightly wild in character display outstanding length on the structured and youthfully austere finish that is shaped by dense but fine tannins
yet it has a great track record for aging
Joseph Drouhin, Beaune Greves Rouge Size:6x750ml offering deeply concentrated raspberry(from a . 80 ha parcel in the climat of Sur les Grves). A deft application of wood frames slightly riper aromas of spicy black raspberry, cherry and lovely floral nuances and in particular, violet. The delicious and tautly muscular flavors possess very good verve while the firm, serious and youthfully austere finish makes clear that this is definitely built to age. This is excellent though a wine that will need at least a few years of patience.
