Young Edits: Young Pop Edits (The Pixies, Cat Power, Joy Division, The Cure) 12" A5 Frank N DankAwesome batch of pop and rock edits from down under. For this EP, Young Edits (aka Australia's River & Phoenix) reconfigure jams from Joy Division, The Cure, Cat Power, and The Pixies to work the discerning dancefloor. A quick listen to "She's Lost Control" and "Why Can't I Be You" and you can tell this isn't a simple cut and paste job. Instead, the duo carefully rework the tracks with deep slo mo house and balearic elements to totally move the crowd.
