This Therm-O-Disc MicroTemp thermal cut-off is engineered to interrupt the electrical circuit if internal temperatures exceed the critical 144°C (291°F) threshold
directly supporting the mechanical responsiveness of the low water cut-off system
making it a critical stock item for maintaining system uptime
Repeated tripping of the rollout limit switch usually indicates a heat exchanger failure
Carrier 48GS400192 Flame Sensor This Therm-O-Disc MicroTemp thermal cut-offThe Carrier 48GS400192 Flame Sensor is a critical safety component designed for precise flame rectification in Carrier, Bryant, and Payne gas fired rooftop units and furnaces. Engineered to withstand high combustion temperatures, this HVAC flame rod monitors the burner flame and sends a microamp signal to the integrated furnace control (IFC) to maintain the gas valve circuit. If the sensor detects a loss of flame or carbon buildup, it immediately
