Milky Chance Sadnecessary Rap 1952 and April 20The full length debut album from Milky Chance, 2013's Sadnecessary, showcases the German duo's stylistically varied sound. Centered on the talents of singer songwriter Clemens Rehbein and DJ Philipp Dausch, Milky Chance make quirky, atmospheric songs that touch upon such genres as folk, reggae, and electronica. A self produced album, Sadnecessary strikes a pleasing balance between lo fi introspection, arty experimentation, and melodic lyricism.
