Description

earning 100-point scores in both 2007 and 2009 and 99 points in its latest appearance

savory herbs and just-ripe red fruit skin essences with dusty plums and blackberries are joined by oak spices and a rocky minerality

Has decent length but the chewy tannins seem a bit strong for the wine's material

Here there is enough reduction to mask the underlying fruit
