a fantastic introduction to Suntory's blending abilities

Bottled at 42% ABV

oaky flavors with notes of candied almonds and very rich cocoa

I chose to treat these grapes as I would a Pinot Noir

Domaine Michel Lafarge Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Aigrots Blanc 2022 050526OFFER a fantastic introduction to Suntory'sA singular quarter hectare parcel at the top of the Clos des Aigrots hill yields this refined Chardonnay, one of only four producers permitted to use the "Clos" designation here. Aromas of minty pear, white flowers, and almonds introduce a medium bodied wine pressed whole cluster and aged 15 months in 0 10% new barrels. The light colored clay and limestone soil creates a wine of ample structure and tangy precision.
