spice and underbrush side also came out nicely
but it s still a huge wine that has overflowing notions of smoked meats
Floral black fruit and spice mark the nose here
full and intense flavors brimming with power and muscle yet this by no means lacks for grace or elegance on the reserved but driving finish
Roulot, Meursault Vireuils Blanc Vintage:2020 spice and underbrush side alsoThis is aromatically similar if a bit more elegant and certainly more complex and with a touch more floral character as well. There is excellent energy to the detailed and ultra precise flavors that seemed to be extracted directly from liquid stone. I very much like the sense of proportion and balance here plus the overall quality is stunning for a villages level wine. This too is very much worth considering. 90 2017+
