Finca Allende, Aurus Brut Zero This needs to develop better

This needs to develop better depth but that shouldn’t be an issue provided one is sufficiently patient

opulent and sappy medium weight flavors that are suave

east-west oriented and unusually fast-draining as well as sun- and wind-exposed ridge that is Mineral Springs vineyard

although it tapers in a little toward the finish when you would expect it to fan out

Finca Allende, Aurus Brut Zero This needs to develop betterThe 1996 Aurus has a rustic, leathery bouquet that is animally and feral. The palate is medium bodied with light, slightly disjointed tannins, while the fruit seems to have ebbed away towards the simple finish. Drink now. Commencing with the Allende Blanc, I was impressed by how well this ages. Predominantly Viura with a higher percentage of Malvasia in older vintages, it develops a fine waxy texture and almost dried Barsac like personality.
