40 ha parcel of vines that average about 40 years of age)

A spicy and admirably pure nose mixes notes of red and blue pinot fruit with those of Asian-style tea

so much so that it is quite difficult to even discern the tannins but they are there

Caroline Morey, Chassagne Montrachet Champs Gains other_regions 40 ha parcel of vines(from vines planted in 2009). An airy and pretty if not especially dense nose combines notes of white orchard fruit, especially pear, with those of citrus, wood and resin. The delicious and round flavors also display good punch that contrast somewhat with the youthfully austere and reasonably long finish. This will need to add depth if it is to merit the upper end of my projected range. (89 92) 2024+
