Chateau Grand Mayne Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2019 070226CRISP Joe Phelps was a ColoradoA Saint Emilion Grand Cru Classe on the western limestone slopes of the appellation, owned by the Nony family for over a century. Grand Mayne tends to deliver generous, plush Merlot led wines with the structure to age, and the 2019 is a standout: a warm vintage handled with precision. Rich black fruit, fine tannins, and a savory limestone driven freshness running through the finish. Approachable now with decanting or rewards a decade in the cellar.
