Description

A deft touch of wood sets off the earthy and mildly sauvage-inflected aromas that consist mainly of plum liqueur though like the Aux Réas there is a hint of volatile acidity lurking in the background

I very much like the nose though the palate impression is softer than I typically find with this wine

dried herbs and savory aromas over baked berries and cassis with a pencil lead hint

they are not heavy
