It has yet to be exploited in a big way in a fine fragrance but with soft celery note and a fresh almost myrrh-like quality that blends very well with clary sage

It has a very long heritage, being first used in L'Origan in 1905. This magnificent piece of perfume history can be used as a complete fragrance, or in small amounts as you would use sandalwood or cedarwood in a luscious dry down accord.
