41% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Petit Verdot
This possesses impressive development potential and should age well for years
The 2008 Barolo Bricco Sarmassa is fabulous
On the palate brown spices abound
Camille Giroud, Volnay Lurets Size:6x750ml 41% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6%This is aromatically similar to the straight Volnay though while I like the slightly better complexity the nose isnt quite as fresh. There is better vibrancy on the palate of the succulent and round flavors that also exude a subtle minerality on the slightly warm and raspy finish. This is certainly good but its not quite as well balanced.
