CVNE (Contino), Rioja Gran Reserva other_regions Reduction masks the underlying fruit

Reduction masks the underlying fruit though there is a really lovely inner mouth perfume to the punchy and gorgeously textured middle weight flavors that brim with minerality on the sappy and wonderfully complex finale that flashes first-rate length

all on the Vosne side that include Aux Athets

This too is firmly reduced

CVNE (Contino), Rioja Gran Reserva other_regions Reduction masks the underlying fruitA very powerful red with the structure and intensity of a great Rioja from the 1950s, 1960s or 1970s. Real gran reserva. Dried fruits such as plums, prunes and cherries. Hints of figs too. Layered and so structured. Full bodied and chewy yet intense and persistent. A fabulous wine. So much potential here. Better in 2020.
