Cascina Penna-Currado Timorasso Derthona E.P. 2024 GROWER with vanilla and white chocolateLuca Currado and Elena Penna channel their decades at Vietti into this Timorasso from the Colli Tortonesi. Submerged cap maceration on 15 year old vines develops complexity beyond typical white wineacacia and camomile on the nose, tropical hints lurking beneath mineral driven acidity. Aged in cement barrels, this wine demands decanting to unlock its aromatic potential. A fresh release from an often overlooked region.
