Tassi Brunello di Montalcino 2019 web-published By fermenting and aging the2019 is one of those Montalcino vintages people will still be arguing about in ten years, and mostly in its favor: classically proportioned, fresh, structured without being heavy. Tassi farms organically and makes Brunello the traditional way, from Sangiovese Grosso, and the wine reflects exactly that. It is savory rather than sweet, built on acidity and fine tannin instead of extract, with tart red fruit, leather, dried herbs, and a balsamic edge.
