youthfully austere and quite serious finish

Elegant and restrained in style

An exuberantly spicy nose is composed almost exclusively of various very ripe dark berries and exotic tea scents

Domaine Leflaive, Bourgogne Blanc other_regions This is also moderately reduced(includes some declassified villages wine). A discreet hint of wood frames wonderfully fresh aromas of pear, white peach and lavender scents. There is a really lovely underlying tension to the racy yet plump middle weight flavors that also conclude in a clean and dry finale. If this can add depth with a few years of bottle age it should make for an outstanding Bourgogne. (86 89) 2019+
