Description

griotte and herbal aromas were made even better with the long

A deft touch of wood sets off the earthy and mildly sauvage-inflected aromas that consist mainly of plum liqueur though like the Aux Réas there is a hint of volatile acidity lurking in the background

The 2009 Cote Rotie Les Triottes reveals a dark plum/purple color along with a sexy nose of caramelized fruit (raspberries and black cherries)

followed by a strong grip of tannins on the finish
