while the dense

one of three new single-vineyard bottlings from Rioja introduced in the 2014 vintage

There is outstanding density and evident power to the larger-scaled flavors that possess plenty of sappy dry extract that also buffers the firm acid spine shaping the impressively long and complex finale

(from 11 different parcels scattered about Puligny with an overall average vine age of approximately 38 years)

Paitin, Barbaresco Sori Paitin other_regions_italy while the denseThe cherry and strawberry fruit is shaded by leather, tobacco and underbrush in this red. Though slightly austere at first, this turns more silky with air. Not especially long on the finish, but elegant nonetheless. Best from 2016 through 2024. 1,500 cases made. BS
